A load of Pollocks...?

Patrick gave me this URL to check out. The artist has done some interesting (disturbing) interpretations of Biblical imagery.

Have only just looked at it and browsed some of the illustrations - maybe 10-20 mins tops - and I do not know what to make of them yet.

Brainstorming...

Jo and I used two different techniques to determine which Bible book I will base my design on.

1. Brainstorming:

2. Random word:
"These tools will generate random words, sentences, or paragraphs. You may want to use the generators to help you in your own approach to brainstorming. You can also use the sentence and paragraph generators if your tastes in comedy lean toward the absurd."

Jo and I were astounded when our first "Random Word" that was generated came up as......GLORY!!!!

How spooky is that , given my subject matter - The Bible???????

(As a further weird coincidence - perhaps prompted by some higher being? - we spotted that the "Random Word" URL contains the word "snake" - our choice of Bible book was earlier made as Revelation which contains references to serpents. Jo and I are a little scared.)

We tried several more "Random Words" and were given the following:

Sock
Maximum
Transformation
and finally....Trinity (yet more spookiness.)

Has Kramer left the building..?

Tonight, I told Patrick that I had given thought to leaving the course altogether.
I thought I would be able to study for the degree whilst running my business but, due to the way things have gone recently, this has proved difficult. Am I able to give the time and energy required to make a success of the course? And still give my best efforts to my clients?

My clients demand the best I have to offer. Also, I demand the same of myself. I do not want to fail either.

What progress..?

A month down the line and I am, to a degree, somewhat stumped.
I do not want to belabour the point but, due to my recent work load and the pressures this has brought, I have done absolutely no work on the module.

Well, that is, apart from visiting my local church, St. Martins in Brighouse, to speak to Father Michael about my ideas for the project; and also paying a visit to a Christian book shop in Bradford to check out the types of material available; and also trawling through the interweb to source some research information. But, despite those things, I have no "research" to present to the class.
